Be Strong and Keep Going

Haggai 2:4 But now be strong, Zerubbabel,’ declares the Lord. ‘Be strong, Joshua son of Jozadak, the high priest. Be strong, all you people of the land,’ declares the Lord, ‘and work. For I am with you,’ declares the Lord Almighty.

The Jews were rebuilding the temple that was destroyed, but they were discouraged with what they were doing because the quality was not like the first temple, then God send them the word of encouragement above. Maybe you feel discouraged with your work and the effort you put into it, it seems lonely and futile now or you may compare your efforts with the past with others, or with your own expectations and feel that what you are doing is not enough. God has same encouragement for you: Be strong, keep going, and continue the work He has placed before you because He is with you.

If you are feeling weary, discouraged, or wondering whether your efforts are making a difference, remember that God sees your faithfulness. He calls you to keep moving forward, trusting that He is at work even when you cannot yet see the full outcome. Have a wonderful week.
